Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day is a American R&B/Soul songwriter and singer. Her awards include the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are just a few of the numerous awards she's been awarded. She was also nominated for an Academy Award. Andra Day, an accomplished singer-songwriter with roots in blues, gospel and gospel that has a passion for the current world. She is much not just an R&B throwback expert. After growing up within San Diego and surrounding areas, she began performing in the church and was enrolled into the School of Creative and Performing Arts. Following after graduation, she started to explore contemporary R&B, pop and jazz but was drawn into the soul and jazz vocalists of the past. Kai Millard Morris was able to attend a show she performed and returned to the studio with Day's tracks the singer. Motown legendary Adrian Gurvitz then introduced Day to music industry veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Allied to Gurvitz as well as Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day developed a popularity on YouTube and later signed with major-label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day dropped her first single Forever Mine on YouTube. DJs began to play it in radio stations. The singer later joined Warner Bros. Records and started cooperating with her producer, Adrian Gurvitz to record her debut album, Cheers to the Fall (2015). The track "Rise Up" was a hit worldwide in social justice movements. Day received two Grammy nominations in the field in the category of Best R&B Album for her album. In the year 2019, she released her sophomore record The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album that tells the story of the legendary jazz singer. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biography of Holiday that was released the in the same year. Andi matichak (born 25th August 1970) is an American actress. She first appeared in the movie Halloween as Allyson, after appearing in various television shows, including Orange Is the New Black (Orange Is the New Black) 666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue), Blue Bloods and Orange Is the New Black. Andi matichak is a American actress born on 03 May 1994 Framingham in Massachusetts.
