Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 is an American actor from the United States. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack consisting of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986), and WarGames. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy, an American writer and actor. In the early 80s, she made her debut as a film actress with the action film Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. The actress was on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy that followed her initial success. John Hughes directed one of greatest films for high schools. Even though it had an budget of just $1 million, the movie's earnings exceeded $50 Million. In the meantime, she was also participating in various television shows including CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. In April 1980, the show was first aired. The show was designed for young people. Other shows on TV she was in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent roles is in Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story that revolves around a female superhero, in which Sheedy appears in a cameo. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 for her performances. She also received the with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
